Little Counselor Books, LLC ("we") runs littlecounselorbooks.com. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
The only information we collect on purpose is what you type into the signup form: your first name (optional) and your email address. We use it to tell you when a book comes out and to send an occasional note from the imprint. That is all.
Our website host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address and browser type, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone.
- We do not send mail on behalf of other companies.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children. The books are for children; the website and signup form are for the grown-ups who buy them. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we will delete it.
Who handles the data
Form submissions are stored by Netlify, our website host. If we move the mailing list to an email service in the future, your address will be stored there under that service's privacy policy, and we will only ever use it for the purposes described here.
Unsubscribing and deleting your information
Reply "stop" to any email from us, or use the unsubscribe link if one is included, and you will not hear from us again. You can also ask us to delete your information entirely at any time.
Links to other sites
This site links to Amazon, to The Golden Dog Project, and to LPA Law. Each of those sites has its own privacy policy, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
